Because I couldn't calculate a distinct algorithm to explain why the heck not. :) Seriously, I love this show, and what keeps me tuned in everyday (yes, there are daily AXN reruns) is the fascinating character dynamic of the whole cast. You see them so focused in their work all day, either as an FBI agent on the field out to get the most insane criminals, or passionately involved in academic discourse as professors in the university, or as an old, retired man trying to handle two competitive, strong-willed, driven sons (one of which is a genius) in his old age, after his wife's death -- but they still manage to get together and have lives. At the end of the day, they're all still human.
The title I chose for this site -- 6° of a Solution -- is meant to be a bad pun on the saying "We're all connected to each other through six degrees of separation." I wanted to highlight the relationship of all the characters to one another -- because really, Don's agents are his friends, and are also his brother's girlfriend's friends, and are also welcome as his father's adopted son. I think that's just fantastic, how they're all like one big happy family at the end of the day. Also, it also characterizes their work relationship -- the whole premise of the show being how the genius and sexy young Mathematics professor Charlie Eppes helps his equally hot FBI agent brother Don and his team solve the most baffling of crimes with the help of numbers. Brilliant, huh? :P
